For you who rent from us

We are glad to have you as a tenant. Comfort matters, and we do what we can to make the building and its surroundings pleasant. Here are the answers to what people most often need to know.

Report a fault

Register your case on My pages, around the clock.

My pages

Reporting faults and service

Is something broken or not working as it should? Log in to My pages to register your case. You get a response once it has been picked up.

Cases about disruptive neighbours are submitted in exactly the same way as a fault report. Please write when the disturbances happen and how often, it makes it easier for us to act.

For urgent matters outside office hours, use the emergency number posted in your stairwell. If there is danger to life or property, always call 112 first.

Subletting

You have the right to sublet your apartment if you have grounds, for example work or study in another town. The sublet must be approved by your landlord and is granted for at most one year at a time.

You can download the subletting form on My pages, where you will also find what applies with your particular landlord. For general questions about valid grounds and how to go about it, the Swedish Union of Tenants has more information.

Apartment exchange

You have the right to apply to exchange your apartment. For the landlord to approve an exchange, a number of requirements must be met by both you and the incoming tenant.

Since 2019, unlawful payment in connection with an apartment exchange carries a prison sentence. Where the landlord has reason to suspect an exchange is not in order, they are entitled to refuse without giving reasons.

Moving in and signing the contract

To book the signing of your contract, send an email to info@ah.se.

If you have carried out an exchange, both you as the incoming tenant and the outgoing tenant must be present at the signing. This can only take place once all inspections in the exchange chain have been approved.

Notice and moving out

The notice period is three calendar months and notice must be given in writing to info@ah.se. We always send a confirmation, so make sure you have received it and know that your notice has reached us.

Contact us about a month before you move out to book an inspection. You must attend in person, and the apartment must be empty and cleaned. If the apartment shows abnormal wear you may be liable for the cost of putting it right.

Remember to cancel your electricity, broadband and other agreements tied to the apartment.
